How about making your own purse? This is the challenge made by the artisan Duarte Rocha at the «Workshop – make your own leather coin purse». Learn to hand-sew leather goods, saddle stitch, and make your own purse.
After selecting the type of leather (available in different shades), Duarte Rocha will guide you through the creation of your purse: cutting with the help of models, assembly, sewing, finish and marking of your creation.
Creations can be customized and reflect the perfection of the traditional know-how. The session is limited to 13 participants.
Duarte Rocha has been performing this activity for more than 5 years, essentially focusing his activity on the manufacture of footwear and leather accessories. ‘Provecto’ gives the name to his atelier and you can view some of his creations on the artisan’s social networks.
This workshop presupposes the acquisition of the material from the artisan.
