Children's Workshop - Juggling

The “Juggling” workshop is meant to be a practical and playful work, where different techniques will be presented in order to guarantee the participants an introduction to juggling, providing a comprehensive knowledge of this modality.
This Workshop consists of two different parts. The first part is collective, with warm-up and coordination exercises, body expression games and a demonstration of different juggling techniques. In the second part, the work is individual, where it will be possible to explore different juggling instruments and enjoy circus’s music with happy rhythm.
The workshop will give the opportunity to try out equipment like juggling clubs, balls, sticks, rings, ribbons and devil stick.
It is highly recommended to use comfortable clothes and have a bottle of water.

Coach: Ana Margarida Menezes is a Dance and Circus Arts teacher at the Conservatory – Professional School of Arts in Madeira. She graduated in 2007 from the Escola Superior de Dança and has an extensive career as a theatre´s actress, dancer and performer.
